Your guideline for admission to the online IT project management degree program
We’ve streamlined our admission process for the MS in IT project management online program to save you time and effort. Just follow these simple steps to apply.
Admission Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- All official transcripts
- No GMAT required
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a 2.5 GPA or higher. No GMAT will be required.
- Students with 2.0-2.49 GPA may be eligible to first take the Business Analytics, Business Process Management or IT Project Management certificate, and if they earn a 3.0 GPA may continue into the full MS program
- Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. No GMAT will be required.
- Official transcripts
- Completion of prerequisite courses, including Managerial and Financial Accounting (ACC 505 at UIS), Operations Management (BUS 522 at UIS), Statistics (ACC 505 at UIS), Math - College Algebra (MAT 102 at UIS) or higher, and Programming Language (CSC 501 at UIS). In addition, students with a non-technical undergraduate degree are required to take MIS 502.
Note: Students in the online IT project management degree program are not eligible to participate in the GPSI/GA programs or use the University of Illinois Employee/Child of Employee Tuition Waivers.
